We’re in the “yes, and” business.
Family Improv is a Las Vegas improv company for kids, teens and the grown-ups who love them. We teach the art of making it up as you go – and we have found it does something lovely to families along the way.

Built for the kid in the back row.
We started Family Improv because we kept meeting kids – and parents – who lit up the moment they were allowed to be silly with permission. Improv is the rare room where there are no lines to forget, no auditions, and no way to be wrong. You just listen, say “yes, and…”, and build something together.
That little act – agreeing, then adding – turns out to be wonderful practice for confidence, friendship and thinking on your feet. So we built a welcoming, all-ages theater around it, right here in the valley.
Pure play on the outside. Real skills underneath.
Parents come for the laughs and stay for what they notice at home: a kid who speaks up, listens better, and rolls with surprises.
Confidence, fast
There are no lines to forget and no way to be “wrong,” so even shy kids find their voice in a session or two.
Real listening
Improv only works if you truly listen and respond. It is social-skills practice wearing the disguise of a game.
Teamwork
“Yes, and” means building on someone else’s idea. Every scene is a small, joyful act of collaboration.
Quick thinking
Thinking on your feet becomes second nature – a superpower on stage, in class, and at the dinner table.
Creativity unboxed
A bare stage and a wild idea. Imagination gets a proper workout, with no right answer in sight.
Screen-free joy
Mostly, it is an hour of pure, silly, present-in-the-room fun. In a world of screens, that matters.

None at all. Every class starts from zero and is built for beginners. Improv has no lines to memorize and no way to fail – that is exactly why it works so well for kids.
Everyone from age five through adult. Little Sparks (5–7), Improv Kids (8–11), Teen Troupe (12–17), all-ages Family Improv, a daytime Homeschool class, and a grown-ups night. See the Classes page for the current schedule.
Small on purpose – usually six to ten students – so every single kid gets real time on stage and personal coaching, not a spot in the back row.
Yes. Family-friendly is the whole point: clean language, kind comedy, and material pulled from audience suggestions in real time. Funny for grown-ups, safe for little ears.
Ages eight and up are drop-off. Little Sparks and Family Improv include a grown-up in the room. Every youth session ends with a short sharing you are warmly invited to watch.
Comfortable clothes they can move, stretch and be silly in, plus closed-toe shoes. No costumes or props needed – we bring the imagination.
Full refund up to seven days before a session begins. After that we offer a prorated class credit. Miss a week? We will help you make it up when we can.
